10-Signs-of-True

True Love Allows You To Be Yourself

How can you tell whether someone is actually into you, or if they're just messing around with you until someone better for them comes along? This situation can really mess with your head. Passion, puppy love, stormy relationships, and young romance all have labels and indications that identify them.

True love isn't easily packaged in a box with a nicely wrapped bow. True love simply just… exists. At first, it might be intimidating to be yourself in front of your partner. Are you getting out of bed with no makeup on and your hair in a tangle? What about them seeing you while you're sick? It's usually something you want to avoid as long as possible. But you shouldn't be feeling this way. Your significant other should be accepting you for who you are and help you through hard times. This is one way to tell its true love.

True Love Is Giving

A real relationship requires a certain level of selflessness. You need to be thinking about your partner the same way you’re thinking about yourself. Don’t put your feelings over the other person’s. After all, you’re a unit. True love involves giving more than it does getting. You want to make sure your partner is happy being around you. If they love you back, they will reciprocate this. This doesn’t just mean giving them material items. A good partner will offer you their time and affection. Like I said a minute ago, they will help you through difficult times. Love demands compassion. If you are not displaying concern for the other person, your relationship is pretty much doomed to fail.

True Love Is Hard Work

Every relationship goes through tension. There will be times you feel disconnected from one another. This can leave both of you feeling lonely, even when you live together. If the two of you truly care for each other, you’ll make an effort to patch things up. This means having conversations and communicating your feelings.

If you’re willing to take in what the other person is saying, you should be able to get to the bottom of your problem. It’s how true love survives.

True Love Is Patience

While you may believe in love at first sight, the fact is that this type of love is more about attraction and infatuation than real love. New relationships may often sweep us off our feet and blind us to a person's genuine character. Once you learn about a person's financial background, sanitary habits, political leanings, or morals, you may question how truly "in love" you are with that person.

This is why real love takes so long to identify. Many other dynamics contribute to you falling for and remaining in love with someone else. In reality, it takes almost a year for a relationship's infatuation to fade, and true love to emerge. Normally, you'll know when this period is coming to a close, since this is when the first fights occur, and you begin to observe how you both heal from these conflicts. If the relationship survives these minor conflicts, you will both discover that you actually love one another.

True Love Is Loyalty

If a relationship has any hope of making it all the way, both partners need to be loyal. A person who’s sneaking around with other people behind your back is not someone you want to be with. While this should be a given, people still do it. Their partner will often shut out and put up a mental block in order to forget about it. These are not the makings of a healthy relationship. True love means you are 100% committed to the other person. To cheat on them is to violate their trust.

True Love Motivates You To Be Better

Everyone feels insecure from time to time. Some of our insecurities can overwhelm us and define our personalities. If you’re in a relationship, you need to learn how to tell the difference between pointless insecurities and actual flaws. If your partner tells you that you’re not listening to them, this is something you’ll want to address. It’s easy for people to make excuses and convince themselves it’s their partner who’s wrong.

A partner in denial, who ignores their significant other’s criticism, is not an ideal person to be with. True love is trusting your partner enough to know that they’re trying to make you better than you already are.

True Love Is Friendship

If you’re a Netflix enthusiast, you’ve probably noticed that relationships on TV sometimes begin with people who start out as friends and end up falling in love as the series progresses. While this is a pleasant fantasy, real life doesn’t work like this. For love to last, you don't have to be best friends with your spouse since kindergarten, but you do have to be friends. Picture the friends you have and how you communicate with them.

Would you say you talk to them differently than you do to your partner? This needs to change. You need to treat them like they’re a close member of your circle. This is how you maintain trust.

True Love Is Different For Everyone

You may think there are norms and criteria for what real love demands. The truth is that it differs from person to person. Every amazing relationship is an exclusively unique definition of love, just as each human is. Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of pure love is that it cannot be defined. This is how you know it’s genuine. You either love or despise your partner.

True Love Is Agreeing With Each Other

Now don’t get me wrong, you will always have minor arguments with your partner. But your values should line up at the end of the day. This consists of everything from politics, to fashion, to lifestyle, to the TV shows you watch together. There need to be things that both of you come together on. Imagine living with a person who doesn’t see eye to eye with you on anything whatsoever. You really only bond physically. While this is okay to some, it really doesn’t make for a comfortable relationship. A couple that truly loves each other will ultimately come together on most topics. There may be a debate at first, and one of you may have to compromise, but you need to find common ground.

Real Love Is Enlightenment

If your partner feels different from the majority of your prior partners, you’ve probably found the right person. You feel good in a way you’ve never felt before. We’ve all come across people who fall in love and stay in love. Most of them will state that the person they ended up spending their lives with felt very different from their previous partners. The love of their lives was distinct in ways that stood out from the beginning. Maybe you’ve always been restrained in relationships. Perhaps you’ve been afraid to give your full self to the other person. This new partner makes you feel differently. You want to open up and share everything you have to offer. You may have always been more drawn to physical attraction in relationships, but this new person is someone you could imagine connecting with on an emotional level as well. When you find the love of your life, the things that have traditionally been the most important in a relationship might suddenly seem insignificant. While these things won’t always conclude in a stable relationship, they are required for you to at least have a chance.

True love means warmth, compassion, passion, desire, and an unconditional emotion, regardless of the circumstances. Studies have found that real love is not only possible but can also survive a lifetime. The only thing that matters is that you put effort into the relationship.
