Air
pollution is a very common phenomenon in today's world. It usually occurs in
Industrial Town, big cities and also in urban areas.
Smoke is the main
pollutant of air. However, the air is also polluted by fumes of various kinds. Man
creates is smoke by burning wood for food, making bricks, and melting pitch.
Mills and factories dispose of toxic Industrial waste, carbon dioxide, carbon
monoxide, etc. Vehicles like buses, trucks, cars, etc. Used petrol and diesel
and emit heavy smokes. Railway engines and power engines also produce smoke.
All kinds of smoke mix air and pollute it. Polluted air affects human lives and the environment severely. We cannot survive if we cannot have fresh air in Britain.
To minimize air pollution we must take some effective steps. Excessive is smoke-emitting vehicles have to be banned from playing on the streets. Compressed air
and CNG driving vehicles should be introduced. Mills and factories have also to
be shifted from residential areas. The cutting down of trees must be stopped
overpopulation must be regulated and each year more trees should be planted
across the country to control air pollution for our greater benefit.
